How's Audrey Doing?

Well with the holidays being so busy I haven't had time to post about Audrey's 2 month doctor appointment or her daily activities. So here it is... a quick update with a few pictures.

We had our 2 month appointment last week and Audrey is doing GREAT! She is weighing 10 lbs & 12oz and is measuring 22 inches...which is in the 50th percentile. I was super excited since as a baby I was always off the charts. She got her shots, two in one leg, one in the other and one orally. Bryan went with me and helped a lot support wise, and calming Audrey. She was actually pretty fussy throughout the whole appointment, even before the shots. Maybe she could sense the stress and knew that something was going to hurt her...maybe? Anyway, I'm pretty strong when it comes to shots and thinking about her getting her shots scared me, but I knew it would only hurt her for a second... and then she would get over it. But I do have this thing where I can't look at needles, especially going into the skin. So I held her hands and just stared at her face. It turned bright red and then she started screaming...I just kept hoping she would stop crying long enough to breath. All in all she did great, and not till around bedtime did we give her some Tylenol to help with some of her discomfort.

We are doing great with our daily schedule. She is still sleeping 7 hours at night, and then wakes up to eat and goes right back to sleep till 10 or so. We are still eating every 2 to 3 hours. Although lately we have been having little fits right when I sit down to feed her. She starts crying and won't eat. I mentioned it to her pediatrician and he said that it might be acid reflux, but then I said that she takes bottles with no problem. He then told us that it might be that I am pushing her too close to the 3 hour mark, and she is so hungry that breastfeeding is too much work and she gets frustrated that she is not getting milk fast enough. So now we are trying to feed her before we get that hungry! :)

Funny Faces! I was trying to get her to smile for the camera (which, by the way she smiles all the time...but as soon as I pull out the camera she just stares at me.) She hasn't quite figured it all out yet.

This week she finally noticed our puppies. She saw Sadie climbing on the back of the couch and got all wide-eyed and followed her back and forth. So I took a picture of her with her puppies, Millie and Sadie.

We are continuing to do Belly-Time...and getting better at it too. It starts out fun, but turns frustrating pretty quickly. Here she is working on holding her head up.

She's adorable! You are so lucky she sleeps 7hrs at night. I'm beginning to wonder if we'll ever get there with the triplets.
