What is Audrey saying?

Answer: EVERYTHING!!!

This kid does not stop talking! When Bryan got home tonight I told him my ears are hurting! Ha!

I joke about it, but I absolutely LOVE it!

She talks in sentences now about everything. Here are some of my favorites...

"Audrey lives in jungle" (Lots of trees constitutes a JUNGLE)
"It's abow to wain...hurry"
"Audrey's kitty Hawoween"
"Naany is my sisssa"
"Poor Naany"
"Naany sit nex me"
"She's so cuuute"
"Audrey's goin to ______" (fwiends house) (the beeech) (Mammo's house) (Sha's house) (groshery shoppin)
"Audrey's pony tail"
"Oh...my puppies"

I could go on and on! She has a huge vocabulary and everyday she surprises me with something new. Today she put a colander on her head and told me she was a "Piate" Out of context I had no idea what she was talking about, but then she said..."Arrrrgh" and I was like, "Oh, a PIRATE!" Where does this kid get all of this! She has such a huge imagination and is always pretending something...it's hard to keep up with her!

Here are my 3 favorites right now... (All of these she says out of the blue...no prompting. We could be just riding in the car and she says this.)

"Mommy...I wouve you"

"Mommy happy?" (I answer, "Yes honey, Mommy is so happy. Are you happy?") and she says "Me happy too!)

"Mommy, I miss you" or "Naany, I miss you" (She says this when she wakes up from her nap or if she comes to find me after playing in her playroom.)

"My bes fwiend, Mommy my bes fwiend."

I LOVE THIS LITTLE GIRL!!!

Aquarium

Dinner with the family at The Aquarium downtown! Audrey was mesmerized by the fish and kept calling for the turtle "Roscoe" to come back! Here are some pictures!

Audrey and the BIG FISH!

Dinner was really good, but this dessert (which we all shared!) sent us into a sugar coma!

2 Months Old!

Natalie is already 2 months old! What happened to July and now half of August? I think these triple digit temperatures are getting to me!
.
Natalie at 2 months old:
Weight: 12lbs & 10oz (75th percentile)
Height: 23.5" (75th percentile)
Head: I don't remember the measurement, but it was also in the 75th percentile
.
No kidding...she is the BEST baby! She is still eating every 2 to 3 hours, but she is the most content baby I have ever seen. She is happy on the floor, on the bed, in your arms and especially in her swing! (Thank goodness...Audrey didn't care for the swing so much!) She sleeps 8 hours straight at night from 11:30pm to 7:30am! She smiles when we talk to her and just this week she has really started cooing back. It is so sweet! I love chatting with her!

The Nemo Toilet Paper Show

I walked out of my bedroom and this is what I found...
Audrey pulled the toilet paper out of the closet, put on her Nemo hat (upside down) and parked herself in front of Natalie's swing to sing her songs! It is so cute to see all her entertaining and how much she loves her "Naany." ("Nana" has now become "Naany"...she is getting closer to saying Natalie!) I LOVE my girls!

The New Boss

Audrey loves going to the office and sitting in Pappo's chair. Here she is going over some important items with Pappo.

Here it looks like she is saying..."Oh come on Pappo...that is definitely not going to work!"

Audrey's potty!

Audrey has been showing some interest about going potty every night before her bath, so today I let her pick out her own potty at Target. This evening we opened it and set it up and while I was unwrapping it she threw a little fit because she wanted to set it up in the middle of the living room. I had to explain to her that we go potty in the bathroom...not in the middle of the the TV room. Ha! I got her undressed and put her on it right before her bath. We sat and talked for awhile, but I had to start to rush her because Natalie was getting bored in her swing, so I pulled her off of it (literally) and looked in it...SHE PEED! I was so excited! I guess I didn't expect her to go in it the first time...so I had no rewards ready for her. So I start cheering, jumping up and down and giving her high fives! She loved it...she wanted to go again. I had to throw her in the tub for a quick bath and told her that she could use the potty again after her bath. With Natalie screaming in the background I dried her off and sat her back on her potty so I could go and give Natalie her paci. I come back in to get her off again and she stands up and I look in the potty and she went again!!! She is a peeing machine! She started cheering and asking for high fives...so we celebrated again. She wanted to go again and she kept saying "Go More!" but I bribed her with we could go and call Grandma Sha and Mammo and tell them what a good job she did. (Natalie was having a bad night and I couldn't spend the whole evening in front of the potty.) So we'll see how tomorrow goes! So far she loves her new potty!

Sisters, Thunder and Glasses

My girls! Audrey loves her Nana so much! All she ever wants to do is hug her, hold her and kiss her. She always says "mine" and I say, yes..she is your sister. She then says "mine sissa!" It's so cute! She is so understanding and never jealous. She adores her and has even named all her babies and stuffed animals "Nana". Natalie loves hearing Audrey's voice and will stop crying as soon as Audrey starts talking to her. She tells her, "No cry. No cry Nana, no cry Nana!" then she says, "No cry. Be haappy me!" It melts my heart! I get it on video almost everyday...I can't get enough of it!
I don't think I have told anyone yet, but Audrey has super powers. During our recent rainy July we had thunderstorms every afternoon. Well, Audrey has decided that she doesn't like thunder, so one day when it was thundering Audrey held up her hand towards the window and yelled..."STOP thunder! No thunder!" She was pretty upset that God didn't listen to her and it kept on thundering.
Another thing is that she is obessesed with glasses! Her sunglasses is a whole post in itself, but here she is wearing Mammo's glasses on her head...just like Mammo! So funny!
