Happy Easter!

Audrey's Easter Basket filled with fun goodies...including Hot Wheels Cars! Yes, she loves to play cars!
All dressed up at 7am before the early service at church!
After church we headed home for breakfast and a nap then headed over to Grandma Marcia's for a wonderful Easter Lunch with family and friends!
Playing with all her Easter toys with the family! I love this picture of Audrey with my dad...it reminds me so much of a picture that I have with him when I was just a little older than Audrey. Love it!
Audrey and Uncle "Ick"!
Our family...plus little Natalie, since I am 7 months pregnant!
Egg hunting all by herself! She was in heaven finding ALL those eggs!
Great picture Grandma Marcia took of Audrey "watering" her flowers! Don't you just love that Nemo hat!

Happy Anniversary Mom and Dad!

We went out to eat to celebrate my parents 33rd Anniversary on April 2nd and after a great dinner Audrey decided share Mammo and Pappo's dessert with them. Yummm!

Let the Easter Egg Hunting Begin!

Our neighborhood playgroup held an Easter Egg Hunt before Easter. I got out Audrey's BIG Easter basket and was curious how she would do "hunting" eggs, but after prepping her all morning about how we were going to look for eggies and put them in our basket she seemed excited. Well...believe me she GOT it! She took of dragging that basket behind her and was all business picking up those eggies! She didn't even stop to shake them or to check if there was anything in them...she was constantly signing and saying "ore" (more).
Check out all those eggs!

You would think our little egg hog was trying to talk this cute little boy into giving her his eggs, but no...he was offering her the eggs he didn't like. Isn't it funny how all their little personalities are so different! Too cute!
After the egg hunt we played at the playground. Here's Audrey and some of her little friends!

This park is in our neighborhood, but this is what she looked like by the time I put the car into drive! She was so worn out she refused to lay her head back, so this is how she fell asleep! Hunting eggs is hard work!

A weekend with Ivalu and Colin!

Ivalu and Colin came to stay with us a weekend in March and we had a fabulous time! It was so much fun catching up with Iva and Audrey and Colin got along so well...they are so cute together! Audrey has gotten her love of cars and trains from Colin and she introduced him to The Lion King! Adorable!
We did a lot of playing at the house, but we also went to the Zoo and went shopping at the Galleria! I didn't take as many pictures as I thought I did...it's hard to keep up with these two! But here are a couple!

Eating snacks in line waiting to get in the zoo!

We rode the train inside the Galleria! Colin was so excited and LOVED it! I was a little nervous about Audrey...since she is so cautious and doesn't really like new things, but she LOVED it too! If I ask her now (a month later) if she rode in a train, she says "yeaa" and then I ask her what color train she rode in and she says "buuu." It really left an impression on her!

Iva and Colin in the Red Caboose and Audrey and I in the Blue car!

Audrey...What are you doing?

Playing in the cabinet!

First Trip to Chuck E. Cheese!

Our friends had their little 3 year old's Birthday party at Chuck E. Cheese and Audrey had a blast! She liked Chuck E. Cheese from a distance (just like Santa and the Easter Bunny) but she wasn't to sure about getting too close. She loved the carousel and the chair ride...and of course following Daddy around while he played!

Love this face! We get looks like this all the time, I can't even explain how expressionate she is. Anyone that meets her says they can't believe all her faces! It cracks us up all the time!

Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo

We had tickets to the rodeo to see Brooks and Dunn, but it was a very rainy day and we decided to just visit the Livestock Show really early (to avoid long lines) and let Audrey do the Petting Zoo. She loved seeing all the animals and really liked the baby ones! She would get down and pet the baby goats, but anything that was taller than her she would ask me to pick her up. She is like that with bigger dogs too...I guess she is just used to our Toy Poodles, that she only like to be on a higher level than the animal.

Zoo Fun!

We took Audrey to the zoo the first Saturday of Spring Break...so it was no surprise that it was packed! We had a lot of fun and Audrey LOVED the animals! Here are some pics!

Audrey holding on to Bryan's leg as we waited for the light rail train downtown so we could avoid the parking mess! (Plus we had to hit The Flying Saucer for lunch and a few beers for Daddy!) It was a beautiful day and we had a great time sitting outside on the patio!

In the Zoo rental stroller!

Mimicking one of the animals with their tongue out!

We made sure we saw the giraffes, the elephants, and of course the monkeys!

Sitting in the best seat of the house...on top of Daddy's shoulders!

These girls LOVE their books!

Chillin with Abby...she kept trying to get Abby to lay back like her!

Soup Anyone???

Audrey loves to make pretend soup and then line up all her stuffed animals and feed them her delicious soup. Believe me...everyone has to try Audrey's soup!

What? I'm coloring!

She loves to color and draw! Back in February I walked in from the other room and saw her laying on her tummy really concentrating on coloring. She looked like such a big girl laying there like that!
